Women's Bible Study

Sunday May 18th
Join the Women of Hope at Hickory Church for a brand-new Bible study launching Friday, May 31st! We’re excited to gather together and dive into “Voice of God” by Priscilla Shirer, a powerful and practical study on learning to recognize and respond to God's voice in our everyday lives.
This is more than just a study—it's a space for encouragement, spiritual growth, and authentic connection with other women seeking God's presence. Whether you're new to Bible study or have been part of many, there's a seat for you at the table.
Come expecting to be refreshed, challenged, and inspired. We can’t wait to grow alongside you!

Young Like 5k
May, 17th
Catawba Valley Young Life's 10th Annual Debbie Hobart Memorial 5K is coming up on May 17th! Come join us at sunset, at the Hickory Regional Airport, for a family friendly, community event with stunning views. This race helps raise funds to send local middle school and high school students, as well as teen moms, to Young Life summer camps, giving them the opportunity to hear about Jesus in an environment designed just for them to have the best week of their lives! Don't like to run but still want to support our local students? There is a "phantom runner" option too. Make sure to register by May 3rd to guarantee your t-shirt! We can't wait to see you and your family there!

QUARTERLY MICRO-RETREAT
Coming in August
Our next quarterly retreat will be coming up late this summer. We will meet off site on the lake for a refreshing get a way. Join us, moms, for a time to retreat and get refreshed. Breakfast and coffee is provided!
Moms with kids of all ages are invited as well as foster moms, primary care providers, and soon to be moms.
Although child care is NOT officially provided for this event, if the lack of child care would keep you from coming, please contact Lin so she can help. Littles are welcome that need to stay in your care.
