Seth Redding

Seth is a Lincolnton, NC native and a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he earned his degree in business. After spending a decade serving in marketing and operations roles at Samaritan's Purse, Seth joined the Hope Hickory staff in September 2025 with a passion for strengthening the church behind the scenes so ministry can flourish out front.

Seth and his wife, Chelsea, have called Hickory home since 2018. They were overjoyed to welcome their daughter, Isla, in 2022, and love raising their family in this community!

As Executive Director, Seth works alongside the Stewardship Team to oversee the financial, operational, and facility needs of the church. His role is to ensure that the church is healthy, organized, and positioned for long-term impact—freeing up our pastoral staff and elders to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6).

Seth is driven by one clear goal: steward every resource—people, time, and finances—with excellence and integrity so that Hope Hickory can continue to Give Hope, Create Community, and Be the Church.
