Kenny Hall
PASTOR
Pastor Kenny Hall moved in faith to Shelby, NC to work voluntarily as a Student Pastor in 2014 after completing his Christian Studies degree at North Greenville University.
He was brought on as a full-time member staff of the church in 2016 when Hope Community Church began. This church was born due to the merger between Element Church- Shelby and 2nd Baptist Church. Under his leadership, RADI8 Student Ministries was grown and Hope College was birthed.
In 2019, Kenny transitioned to the role of Teaching Pastor when the church opened a 2nd campus. He and his wife Rachel were married the same year. During this time, Kenny and Rachel were feeling the call towards church planting and spent the next 3 years praying, planning, and building a team.
Pastor Kenny was joined by a team of 10 other families from HCC that followed the Lord's call to be a part of the Hope Community Church-Hickory Church plant. The church plant was launched in December of 2022, and after 2 years of pastoring the portable church plant, Kenny and Pastor Mark came together to merge their churches together and form Hope Hickory Church. Rachel and Kenny now have two boys, Fletcher and Myers! They are passionate about their faith, their family, and their football teams.
