Jalisa Kale

Jalisa is a native of Kings Mountain, NC where she and her family currently reside. She graduated from Elizabeth City State University in 2011 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Divinity Degree from Gardner Webb University School of Divinity. For the last 10 years, Jalisa has worked for Cleveland County School District and currently serves as a Digital Learning Coordinator and Secondary Virtual Science Instructor.

She and her husband, Matt were married in October of 2015 and their daughter, Nyla Grace was born in May of 2018.

From 2011 until 2019 Jalisa served as the corporate worship leader at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Shelby North Carolina. She transitioned to Hope Community Church Shelby in 2020 where she actively served as an intern and worship leader in partial fulfillment of course requirements for her divinity degree.

Jalisa is passionate about worship and desires to help create a safe place at Hope Hickory where individuals from all walks of life can come in and experience complete freedom in worshipping our Heavenly Father.
